This week has been fairly busy, we got Ruca groomed and up to date on all of his shots and enrolled him in puppy training classes at petsmart. Its a 6 week course where he will be introduced to other puppies and learn to sit, stay, come, drop it, etc. they also teach us how to potty train! The classes are guaranteed and the trainer said if there's something Ruca isn't catching onto, we can call and set up a one-on-one appointment where she will go over it with us and Ruca until he gets it. nice. This class will be well worth it.
So in other news, i shot pictures of a newly engaged couple last weekend and here are a couple photos from that session!
These guys were awesome and we had a lot of fun during the shoot!
Congratulations Christian and Shaena!
Well, now it's the weekend and unfortunately bandy is working. He is on Panama shift right now, which, for those of you unfamiliar with the military, means they work 2 days, are off for 3 then work 3 days and off for 2. but they work 12 hour shifts and every other weekend. This weekend just happens to include Easter Sunday. I was fairly sad when I realized this but we decided to celebrate Easter together on Monday so it all works out. However, I must say that whoever invented Panama shift was not very good at math. Because one week bandy works 60 hours a week, the next week he works 36. So over a 2 week period he works 16 hours more than all the other units and he doesn't get paid any kind of overtime. lame. He does get to be home 15 days out of the month though, which is very nice. To me, the math still doesn't quite add up, but it is the military so its one of those things where you just have to suck it up and deal with it. We take the good with the bad and try to look at the positives and so far were succeeding!
I hope everyone has a fantastic Easter!
