Hey guys! So 'member that one blanket i started and never mentioned again? Well i did finish it..
but it didnt turn out to be a blanket.
being the super experienced crocheter that i am, i didnt realize i kept dropping stitches at both ends of my blanket.
it was turning into a half circle quite nicely.
i was on the phone with my mom trying to fix it for at least an hour when suddenly i said, fine! i will make it into something else!
so i did.
and when i showed my best friend Kelsie, she LOVED it because it was the ugliest thing in the world and she loved that i made it. so i gave it to her as a Christmas present, and this is the picture she sent me last night.
dont you love how its still lopsided?!
im pretty sure she even had to put her hood up over the hat to keep it in place. but just look at the look on her face! She loves it! haha
bahahaha. thanks for the laugh. maybe i wont' attempt to crochet our stockings..
ReplyDeleteyeah i wouldn't recommend it unless your prepared for it to go exactly as you did NOT plan, but hey, on the bright side, it cant get much uglier than this right?? so you should feel confident :)
